Material Creation

What started as a self-learning project ended up being used in a game project.

I was very new to Substance Designer, so I decided to dive in and learn it more thoroughly. So far, I have created three materials: a stained floor, a ceiling, and a tile floor material.

Each material has been crafted with consideration of the game's theme—dark, post-apocalyptic, brutalist—to ensure they fit seamlessly into the world. The materials enhance the storytelling through their depth and detail.

Throughout my time working with Substance Designer, I have realized that it is an excellent program for creating textures and expressing artistic vision in a procedural way.
